Refueller network
EVOL LNG refuelling station technology has been developed from a combination of our unique industry knowledge, innovation and practical experience gained in Australia. The stations are unmanned and highly sophisticated with various built-in safety controls.
Drivers access the refuelling facility with the use of a swipe card which integrates with back office customer reporting functions and online fleet management tools.
Storage and transport
By liquefying natural gas, its volume is reduced approximately 600 times. This makes it easier and cheaper to transport over long distances and to store it in large quantities.
LNG is stored in dual skinned insulated storage vessels that are built to specifically hold LNG (including vehicle fuel tanks). In principle, these tanks are essentially larger versions of a typical “thermos” flask. They are a tank within a tank, and a vacuum is maintained within the space between the two vessels. They are inherently very strong and are built to strict international codes and standards.
Our fleet
Our distribution network comprises of a company-owned fleet of 20 LNG tankers and 10 LNG fuelled vehicles.
Each year, our fleet travels over 2 million kilometres delivering in excess of 1 billion litres of LNG to the HDV and power generation markets across Australia.
